I have my granddaughters from 7am - 6pm today. In the meantime, here's a shot of a pretty wildflower from my backyard to brighten your day :)

    1. Thanks Lori. Those flowers pretty much take over my entire yard over the spring and summer.

  3. Hope you are having a fun day with them. I know that it's tiring when it's a long day like that. I played some simple board games, colored, did a drawing board game, and took a walk with my granddaughter yesterday.

    1. It was a completely exhausting day Bijoux. I don't know if they had too much sugar or something yesterday, but they were as naughty as can be today!

  4. Greetings, Martha!

Bijoux emailed me to let me know that you were back blogging again, so I wanted to stop by and say HI and that you were greatly missed. However, I am currently taking a blogging break as well. I stopped posting mid-summer, but I'm still reading and commenting on other blogs. I've been very busy with work (retail), so I may be blogging again after the holidays. Hope all is well with you, my friend. X

    P.S. Gorgeous flower!

    1. Hi Ron! I'm so glad you stopped by to say hello. I've missed you and I hope all is well in your world. I know how exhausting retail is during this month and next. I hope all goes smoothly. I'm looking forward to your return to blogging. It's so good to see you here!

    1. It's actually a leftover spring/summer flower. Fall arrives very late and slowly in Florida.

    1. Thanks Martha. They are mostly great days and then some not so great like today, unfortunately. I grateful for every moment with them either way.

    1. How exciting Margaret! Although I can certainly feel for you having the little one for an extended time now. It is definitely completely exhausting when it's over a long period of time. I can't wait to hear details!

    1. It's funny that you put it that way Lisa because we have a cold front coming in next week, supposed to get down in the 40s in Florida. I've been saying that we haven't had weather that cold before January in many years.
