NaBloPoMo - Day 19

If I were using titles for my posts during NaBloPoMo, this may have been a Wordless Wednesday - instead, you get some words, lol.

My son is in San Francisco on business this week. He sent me this fantastic shot he took of Alcatraz Island. Of course, I had to share.

Have a great day! :)

    1. When I visited years ago I did the helicopter tour instead of going to the island. I guess I was more excited about riding in a helicopter at the time. I'm kind of sorry now that I didn't go inside.

  3. That is a great shot! I stood in that same spot and took a photo in 2016 but my phone did not do a close up of it like that. The Golden Gate Bridge is so beautiful there.

    1. Thanks Bijoux. He told me he had to do like a 20x zoom on it, lol. The bridge is definitely beautiful. He was also excited to go to In-N-Out, we don't have those here in Florida.

  4. Nice shot. There's a great kids book that takes place on Alcatraz, "Al Capone Does My Shirts" by Jennifer Choldenko.

  26. Imagine going to San Francisco on business. All I could go to was Houston or Dallas. Nothing wrong those towns except they are not San Francisco.
