NaBloPoMo - Day 9

I wish I could post photos of my girls to show you. They are both the cutest little things! My son and his wife don't post photos of the girls on any public social media, so I'm sure they wouldn't want me to post them here either.

I think I can get away with this one. You can almost feel their energy through the photo, can't you? I'm also linking it up over at Shadow Shot Sunday which is hosted by my dear friend Lisa. Come on over to join us with your shadow shots.

Have a great day! :)

  1. Awww, this is a darling photo! Like your son and his wife, my husband and I don't post photos of our kiddo online, so I bet they are grateful you adhere to that preference as well.

  2. One of my daughters is stricter than the other. They don't mind the blog but are anti-Facebook. That's a beautiful photo!

  3. I love this. Such joy! I understand about not posting photos of children, but I also understand why you want to share them. Just sweet as can be.

  5. Sweet photo, and totally appropriate I would think. Many parents don't want their children's images anywhere on the internet and I totally respect that.

    1. You can't blame them these days. I shared photos on blogs when my children were younger but the internet has become much darker since then.

  7. Awww... adorable! I remember my daughter and her little pigtails bouncing when she ran. Too many parents put their children right out there for all to see, it's best to be careful. (I hate to say it, but especially with little girls.) Thank you for participating in Shadow Shot Sunday. It's so nice to have you posting again, we missed you.

    1. I totally agree with you Lisa. I've heard some real horror stories about photos of children being horribly misused.

  11. Great image. I don't blame their parents for not wanting their images online. I know more parents are taking that stand. But you can't recognize them from this image, so I'm sure it's okay.

  18. Two beautiful girls, Martha! I used to post photos of my grands, but have decided it's all too dangerous. Back shots, like you did here, are fine. Blessings!
