Z is for...

Zucchini - One of my very favorite veggies! Besides, I wasn't about to drag my butt off to a zoo just so I could get a photo of a zebra!

When I decided yesterday to use zucchini as my Z post, I thought it would be perfect to post a delicious recipe with some nice photos of a delicious meal that included stuffed zucchini. Little did I know I was going to have a bunch of teenagers over when dinnertime came around. So, instead of a beautiful meal I show you hot dogs for last night and zucchini ready to be stuffed for tonight's dinner ::fail::

You should head over to Nibble Me This right now to see the meal I had planned to prepare for this post, and say hello to Chris while you're there! Nibble Me This is the blog of Chris - the grilling god! Chris happens to be one of my best blogging buddies too. Thanks Chris for always leaving me comments and cracking me up with your great sense of humor.

So that's a wrap peeps. The A-Z Challenge has come to an end for this year. I will probably take a blogging break as far as posting goes for the rest of this week to give me time to do some comment catch up and visiting your blogs. I'll be back in time for my A-Z Reflections post on Monday, May 7th. This has been a lot of fun!

Cheers! :)

  9. As a kid, I hated zucchini (and onions and tomatoes) but as an adult, I love it! Still hate onions and barely tolerate tomatoes....but zucchini....I could fill my veggie garden with it and be very satisfied!

  14. We take peppers, zucchini, squash and portabellas(sp?) and toss them with fresh garlic, olive oil and maybe a tad of balsamic and grill them all the time! Yum! I will be trying this one as well. We made it through the challenge. My post is extremely lame because I am over the top busy and not feeling well at all today. I will be back to my usual rambling posts after today.
