I know many people have list of goals, dreams, and bucket lists. I have been very lucky to have lived lots of my dreams along the way. At this point of my life I have one thing on my list - to get rid of just about everything I own and live in a small place on the beach with nothing more than my family, pets, computer, grill, and some nice comfy furniture.
What is your ultimate dream?
Until next time - see you tomorrow.

My ultimate dream is to move back to Spain where I lived for three years. My youngest son lives there and the climate is so much warmer than here in the UK.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading about your ultimate dream hope it comes true.
Yvonne.
I hope yours does too!
DeleteI could be dreaming the same dream you are! A little place in the keys somewhere....
ReplyDeleteSounds perfect to me Iggy! I love the keys too. I'll meet you for drinks at Sloppy Joe's :)
DeleteMy ultimate dream could well be the same as yours. A trip to the beach is always my favorite place to be. It seems I'll never get there though, but I keep on dreaming.
ReplyDeleteDon't know if I will ever get there either but I'm sure going to try!
DeleteStill going through life, but I suppose having enough dough to do what I want and a nice little house like that somewhere is all I'd require.
ReplyDeleteWell I'm not dead yet Pat but some days I feel like it and probably look like it too ;P
DeleteTo rent an apartment for a few months in NYC...then Paris, a village in Italy, Spain and Greece and just immerse myself into the culture.
ReplyDeleteI like your idea.
Velva
Nice Velva!!! Love your ultimate dream!!! So glad you have one, so many really don't which is surprising to me.
DeleteThat looks awfully perfect!!! Great U post!
ReplyDeleteThanks ej. I'll be by to visit soon :)
DeleteI like that goal, Martha! I can see you accomplishing it down the line!! Ultimate goal, to finish the race (life) well; to hear "well down good and faithful servant."
ReplyDelete(we are almost there, so close!!!)
betty
Thanks Betty. I hope to get there but if I can't I'm ok with that too. Getting rid of all the stuff is even more important that where I live - how I live is more important. I don't want to pass this heavy load that I've inherited down to my own children.
DeleteI be moving in next door to you Martha :)
ReplyDeleteCool! We can sit on our back decks and wave to each other while we are blogging ;)
DeleteLove your ULTIMATE goal. As I sit here writing the check for May's storage I have to agree whole heartedly with this choice! Just wish I was closer to help you - after I get mine done of course.
ReplyDeleteI refuse to pay for storage! It might make my day to day life easier than looking at all of my mothers stuff still packed up and taking up all the space, but I know I would never get to it to deal with it if I had it in storage - and storage is so ridiculously expensive!
DeleteI have yet to decide what my ultimate dream is save for a reasonable amount of peace in my life.
ReplyDeleteHave you ever considered a move elsewhere? I ask because lots and/or homes can be bought on the beaches in the Philippines for a fairly inexpensive price. Too, ones cost of living is considerably better as well, as is the stupendous, warm weather.
Thanks for stopping by Jeremy. I actually have considered moving to another country and may very well do that before it's over. I don't have that option right now but it's definitely a future consideration - thanks! :)
DeleteFor my blood platelet count to go up.
ReplyDeleteThat doesn't sound good Paula. I'm on my way over to see if you've posted about things...
DeleteYou and me both!
ReplyDelete:-) Mandy
Want to be my neighbor? :)
DeleteMy dream is similar. To pay off the restaurant, sell it (or find someone responsible to run it)and move to Hawaii. Really, any beach will do. Where is YOUR beach?
ReplyDeleteMy current beach is in Florida but I don't have any special beach in mind. Hawaii sounds wonderful, but SO expensive (yes, I've checked). Since any beach will do for both of us we should definitely plan to be neighbors :)
DeleteThat little house right there is my dream... hahhaha o,r like you ....any beach will do. We went to Portugal for two weeks...and let me tell you...they have lovely inexpensive beach places..... ...... I now think I'd be happy enough going for ..oh, say 6 months of the year and coming back here for the other six.....
ReplyDeleteSounds like I'd be happy there year round! :)
DeleteThis life you're living sounds perfect to me.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Elizabeth. I wish this were the life I'm living, but who knows, maybe one day I'll get there!
DeleteYou're right, I misread your post. I do hope we both achieve that life of quiet joy and simplicity.
DeleteThis sounds perfect to me Martha!
